    Calls for robust billing systems

    Calls for robust billing systems

Vocus owned companies Slingshot, Flip Services and Orcon kept charging about six thousand people well after their contract ended.

The three telcos were each fined more than 120-thousand dollars.

Commerce Commission chair Anna Rawlings says all businesses should have efficient invoicing systems.

She says if customers terminate their contracts... the charging needs to stop on the day of termination.
