    Valentine Holmes will return to rugby league in North Queensland's NRL trial against Brisbane


    The former Australian and Queensland fullback's been named to play in the No.1 jersey on Saturday in Cairns.

    The 24-year-old hasn't played the code since the 2018 finals with Cronulla.

    He's returned to the NRL after an unsuccessful attempt to break into the NFL with the New York Jets.
