A chance for the community to voice their opinions in the wake of gang violence in the Western Bay of Plenty

A chance for the community to voice their opinions in the wake of gang violence in the Western Bay of Plenty

Around 250 people turned out to a public meeting in Tauranga last night to discuss the situation.

Bay of Plenty Times reporter Esme O'Rafferty says the crowd was quite receptive to what was being said.

She says there was a fair bit of applause - and it seems there was a range of opinions being voiced, not just from one side of the argument.
