Financial fall out for Air New Zealand as the coronavirus epidemic continues

Financial fall out for Air New Zealand as the coronavirus epidemic continues

    Air New Zealand

The national carrier predicts it will lose up to 75 million dollars annual profit as demand plummets.

Today it says it will suspend flights to Seoul from Saturday next week - and cut back services across the Asia, Tasman and Domestic networks.

The Herald's Duncan Bridgeman says the airline maintains it will weather the crisis.

He says it's uncertain how long flight changes will continue for - but the extent will be crucial.
