    Five people have been injured, three of them seriously after two separate crashes along a Southland highway


    Three people suffered serious injuries and another one moderate injuries after a van and a ute collided at the intersection of State Highway 94 and Holmes Road just before 6.

    earlier Emergency services were called to a crash between a tractor and a push bike at the intersection of State Highway 94 and Christie Road.

    One person was seriously injured in that crash.
