    A remarkable finish to Otago and Auckland's Plunket Shield match at the Eden Park Outer Oval


    The Volts last wicket pair of Nathan Smith and Michael Rae have batted for almost 12 overs to secure a draw.

    Their hosts looked in-line for a comfortable victory, taking regular wickets after setting the visitors 371 to win.

    Central Districts have claimed an eight-wicket win over Northern Districts in Napier, after being set 73 to win in eight overs.

    Canterbury secured an innings-and-134-run victory over Wellington in Rangiora, wrapping up the visitors' second innings for 120 early on day four.
