Middle forward Jackson Frei is out for the season after suffering an ACL injury in the pre-season hitout against Melbourne.

He joins Bunty Afoa in being out for 2020, while fellow prop Sam Lisone was released over the weekend to the Titans.

Coach Stephen Kearney says it was obvious to the team's medical staff straight away the news would not be good.
