Dry times for rural Aucklanders north of the bridge

Dry times for rural Aucklanders north of the bridge

Watercare says Wellsford's Hoteo River has dropped to its lowest level since 1983.

Head of water value, Roseline Klein, says the organisation's exploring other water sources.

She says WaterCare's continuing to supply rural communities and outlying suburbs - through tanker filling stations.

Klein says more than 211 million litres has been given out since the start of the year.
