    Road repair work is forging ahead for the only link to Golden Bay


    The section of State Highway 60 over Takaka Hill was extensively damaged during ex-tropical-cyclone Gita two years ago.

    NZTA says it's still working on five complex repair sites - aiming to have the road reopened to two lanes by the end of the year.

    It says drivers are set to face slightly longer delays, as they work on the slip site at the top of the hill.
