    Two hundred jobs have been cut from Sky City in this country, with immediate effect

    The redundancies are part of major changes the casino giant's making here and across the Tasman.

    SkyCity chief executive Graeme Stephens says the pandemic has caused an unprecedented impact on people, businesses and the global economy.

    He says during the closure, the company's missing out on 90-million dollars a month in lost revenue ... while still incurring significant costs.

    Except for central Auckland's Convention Centre and Horizon Hotel project, all capital development projects in New Zealand have been put on hold.
