The Christchurch-based outfit will be placed into voluntary liquidation after succumbing to unprecedented financial pressure.
They explored a number of potential alternatives, including Netball New Zealand, but none were able to help in the current environment.
Board member Darren Wright is heartbroken.
Netball NZ will now enter discussions with stakeholders of the Tactix, whilst retaining head coach Marianne Delaney-Hoshek and players.
