    There are a number of hurdles to overcome before the men's ATP and women's WTA tennis tours can merge


    Roger Federer has suggested now is the perfect time for governing bodies to join forces to produce one strong body for the world's fourth largest sport.

    ASB Classic tournament director Karl Budge says it's a good idea but any merger won't be easy.
