The deal was brokered with the Rural GP Network because the pandemic has worsened the shortages of healthcare professionals in rural communities.
Network chief executive Dalton Kelly says staff will be coming from urban centres where services have been reduced.
He says it's important because some rural practices only have one or two doctors, and might be the only practice in town.
Kelly says they've identified 80 practices that could suffer, and the deal means it covers all healthcare positions.
