All students need to be supported -- whether they're in the classroom or at home

All students need to be supported -- whether they're in the classroom or at home

A number of teachers around the country are going into school today to iron out plans for pupils up to Year 10 to return tomorrow.

Heath McNeil is principal of South Auckland's Ormiston Primary School, and says the last week's been spent contacting families to see what they're doing.

He says five families have changed plans within the last day -- which is something he thinks will be common in the coming weeks.

About 800-thousand students nationwide have been logging into lessons online or learning via government-issued education packs.
