    A man has been arrested after two people were seriously injured after a fleeing driver crashed into a car at a New Plymouth intersection


    The pursuit began after police were called to a disorder incident shortly after 12.30.

    They say, due to the manner of driving, they abandoned the pursuit before the crash at the intersection of Courtenay and Liardet Streets.
