Organisers believe using half of the competitions' 20 stadiums is the most viable way of completing the season, which was suspended nearly two months ago.
Brighton chief executive Paul Barber understands resuming the sport will require compromises, but says the league's integrity would be damaged if teams couldn't play at home.
The club will be in a relegation battle if the competition resumes, just two points ahead of the bottom three.
