It's believed the country will have lost about 15 billion dollars in Gross Domestic Product during Covid-19 alert levels three and four

The Reserve Bank estimates GDP fell 37 percent during alert level four - and predicts 19 percent loss at level three.
The central bank doesn't factor in the decline in global economic activity - which would've reduced New Zealand's GDP without any containment measures.
The figures are slightly lower than Treasury released three weeks ago.
