25 years to the day New Zealand won the America's Cup, former tactician Brad Butterworth has given a vote of confidence to the current crop of Team New Zealand sailors

25 years to the day New Zealand won the America's Cup, former tactician Brad Butterworth has given a vote of confidence to the current crop of Team New Zealand sailors

Black Magic completed a 5-nil clean sweep of Dennis Conner's Stars and Stripes on May the 13th 1995 in San Diego.

Butterworth was tactician for that campaign and subsequent defence five years later.

He says Team New Zealand are well placed to successfully defend the Auld Mug again.
