Normally 100-thousand trampers and other visitors pass through the property which is the gateway into into Mt Aspiring National Park.
Co-owner Allison Aspinall says the access road has been quiet over the lockdown, but they had two unusual events this week.
She says several interesting people looked to be searching for magic mushrooms in the valley.
Aspinall was unable to confirm if the rescued person removed from the mountain tops was a base jumper.
