    The NRL's restart in under two weeks is again in doubt

    The referee's union is refusing to rule out a strike after filing a dispute notice with Australia's Fair Work Commission, over the NRL's decision to reduce the number of match officials from two to one.

    Union chair Silvio Del Vicchio claims the league can't change the officiating model under their current enterprise agreement.

    He says they have filed to Fair Work for conciliation and potentially arbitration in order to restore what they think is the right structure.
