Clubs in the fourth tier of English football have agreed to cancel the 2019-20 season with immediate effect, but want to stage play-offs to decide the fourth team to be promoted

The decision sees the top three teams from League Two moving up to League One with no clubs relegated.

Should the plan be given the green light, Crewe, Swindon and Plymouth would be promoted, with one more to follow.
