New Zealand Rugby boss Mark Robinson believes there's a real prospect of retuning the international rugby calendar.
It's been revealed the Six Nations' countries are now open to moving their competition back by a month to be played in March and April.
The Rugby Championship would also be run then as a compromise.
The July test window would then move to October before the usual November series in the northern hemisphere, which Robinson says he likes.
New Zealand Football will be circling June 25 on their calendars, as the day FIFA announces the hosts for the 2023 womens' FIFA World Cup.
NZF along with the Australia Football Federation are bidding against Japan, Brazil and Colombia to host the next women's tournament.
The 37-member FIFA Council will hold an open vote, with the result of each ballot and each voter's choice to be made public on their website.
