Two weeks in and it's not getting easier being away from home for some of the Warriors players.

Today marks a fortnight since the side flew into Tamworth to be quarantined ahead of the season restart in a week-and-a-half.

Local officials are cautioning that a Supercars round in Auckland next January still has some hurdles to overcome.

Supercars has announced the round will be held January 9th and 10th, as part of an elongated 2020 season due to Covid-19.

Auckland Tourism, Events and Economic Development is still waiting for its budget to ensure it can deliver the event.

ATEED boss Steve Armitage says the event is also contingent on a trans-Tasman bubble being formed.
