The second annual New Zealand Crime and Victims Survey has been released, with sobering figures such as 94 percent of sexual assaults aren't being reported.
Victims' advocate Ruth Money says the system makes a mockery of a survivor and it needs to change urgently.
She says the system re-victimises you so much that it's not worth your heart, soul and emotional welfare, to put yourself through it.
