The Breakers have decided to take a break

The Breakers have decided to take a break

All five of the currently contracted players have opted out of playing in the NZ NBL due to the hectic schedule which will see teams play three games a week.

Owner Matt Walsh says it's probably just too many games in too short of a time for their veteran guys of Tom Abercrombie, Corey Webster, Rob Loe and Jarrad Weeks.

He says for Finn Delany it's probably not worth the risk of a serious injury.
