Todd Muller is against cannabis for recreational use but says Kiwis have other things on their minds

Todd Muller is against cannabis for recreational use but says Kiwis have other things on their minds

The National Party leader took over from Simon Bridges yesterday after the party's popularity slid sharply on two polls.

Muller says legalising cannabis for recreational use is flawed and he'll be voting against it in the upcoming referendum.

However, he says New Zealanders are more focussed on their jobs at the moment.

Muller says his job as the leader of the Opposition is to put out a plan for economic recovery that helps families, and gives them security and a sense their livelihoods are protected.
