Farmers are supporting the efforts, to keep our waterways clean

Farmers are supporting the efforts, to keep our waterways clean

It comes after changes to the Essential Freshwater regulations, and a 700-million dollar investment to go towards cleaning up rivers and lakes.

Federated Farmers Environment spokesman Chris Allen, says the changes reflect the feedback provided by the rural sector.

He says overall there are some things farmers can work with, and it will set the right tone going forward into the future.
