    A big project to lift plant growth and reduce the use of chemicals is on the way for the horticulture, arable and wine industries


    The Government is working with them to get the new 27 million dollar Lighter Touch project off the ground.

    Horticulture New Zealand chief Mike Chapman says the sectors will work together to make sure more food reaches premium markets.

    Chapman says they will combine expertise to speed up crop protection techniques.
