Rugby Australia has adopted some Rugby League rules for the upcoming Super Rugby Australia competition

Like Super Rugby Aotearoa games level at 80 minutes will go into golden point extra time, and teams can replace a red carded player after 20 minutes.

But RA have taken the experimental rules a bit further introducing a 50-22 rule, similar to league's 40-20 rule.

And teams will be forced into a goal line drop out if they are tackled with the ball in their own in-goal area.
