Originair's seen decent traffic on their new Wellington to Nelson route, which was temporarily shut down just weeks after launch due to covid-19.
Chief Executive Robert Inglis says it's a delicate time for regional airlines - but the numbers are looking good.
He says reservations have been surprisingly solid, but it does take a while to build inventory after a break in flying.
