23 June 2020
It happened just after 8am on a raised pedestrian strip on Glenmall Place in Glen Eden.
Pecks Cottage Bakery owner Bonat Toun says a witness told him a local woman had died.
He says a crowd of onlookers gathered soon after the accident, but there was little that could be done to save her.
The woman who died is believed to be part of the local homeless community.
