Manawatu have defeated Taranaki 102-93 in the National Basketball League

Manawatu have defeated Taranaki 102-93 in the National Basketball League

Taane Samuel and Jayden Bezzant led the way for the Jets with a game high 24 points each as they notched up a third win of the season to move into the top four.

Jets coach Tim McTamney says he's pleased with the performance as much as the result.

    Earlier, Nelson beat Auckland 91-83.

Two points separate the competition's top six teams.
