    The Police Minister expects a major Mongrel Mob bust will make a big dent in drug harm and violent offending


    Stuart Nash says the senior leadership of the Waikato chapter has been taken out as a result of Operation Kingsville, which resulted in 29 arrests.

    As part of the investigation, Police seized over one-million dollars in property, high-spec cars and motorbikes, jewellery and cash.

    The operation also recovered nearly 200-thousand dollars in cash, stolen property, methamphetamine, other drugs and firearms, including some that were loaded.

    Nash says it's particularly significant Police have also shut down four clandestine meth labs in the Waikato.
