A multi-million dollar loan to help keep Hawke's Bay Airport afloat

The airport needs up to 9 million dollars - as it faces reduced passengers and revenue because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Crown will now lend it up to 4.5 million dollars - on commercial terms, with councils dishing out the rest.
Finance Minister Grant Robertson says the cash will protect about 200 jobs - and ensure the terminal redevelopment can be completed.
The Crown has a 50 percent shareholding in Hawke's Bay Airport Limited.
