An economist says National's policy to cut Super Fund contributions is a step in the right direction

The party wants to suspend contributions for four years, claiming it would reduce core crown debt by nine billion dollars.
The New Zealand Initiative's Doctor David Law, says action like this, is what's needed right now.
He says debt increased from 19 per cent of GDP last year, and is set to reach 54 per cent in just a few years.
