There's cautious optimism over the prospects for primary exports

Dairy, meat and horticulture export sales are booming, up nearly a billion dollars on the same time last year.
The Institute of Economic Research says there's continued demand for New Zealand-farmed products in Asia, due to a high level of trust in our food hygiene and the rise of Western-style diets.
Principal economist Chris Nixon says although it's great news, the surge doesn't cover all industries.
He says other exports, such as forestry and manufacturing, are down - so we're running about even.
