Our electoral system's being partly blamed for the poor quality of some Members of Parliament

Several MPs from both sides of the House have left in a cloud of controversy over the past few weeks.
The latest to go is Workplace Relations and Safety Minister Iain Lees-Galloway, who was fired for a year-long affair with a woman who'd worked for him.
Former Speaker, Sir Lockwood Smith, says current MPs are very good at politics.
However, he says it's more important they're people their communities respect, and who can represent them in Parliament.
He says we're losing that, which worries him.
Smith says MMP's made it worse.
