The lives of eight-year-old Brayden Mulligan-Gibson and nine-month-old Arianna Mulligan-Cooke are being celebrated at a service in the city centre.
The two perished in a blaze at their Burwood home last week.
In today's ceremony - a visual tribute was played for mourners to Tim McGraw's My Little Girl - and Ra Whanau Ki A Koe - one of Brayden's favourites.
The children were then farewelled to a rousing rendition of the hymn Abide With Me.
A procession will shortly begin to a private service for the family.
