Don't panic - the dairy market is just righting itself

That's the comment from analysts as global dairy prices fell again overnight.

Overall, prices dropped 5.1 percent at the latest Global Dairy Trade auction.

The Country's Rowena Duncum says there's no need to panic as there were four consecutive increases earlier this season.

She says the market is correcting itself.

Duncum says the whole milk prices might be down 7.5 per cent - but it's still trading at the gold standard of three thousand US dollars.
