Millions are being spent on new cycleways in Lower Hutt and Wairarapa

Associate Transport Minister Julie Anne Genter has this morning announced 16-million dollars for the shovel-ready projects.
Fifteen-million will be spent on the Eastern Bays Shared Path, providing a walk and cycleway along Marine Drive, connecting Lower Hutt's bays with the Remutaka Cycle Trail.
The remaining million will be spent on a shared path between Featherston and Greytown.
That's part of the wider Five Towns Trail, eventually connecting Martinborough, Featherston, Greytown, Carterton and Masterton to the Remutaka Cycle Trail.
