    A 1 NEWS Colmar Brunton Poll on candidate support has National's Matt King sitting at 46 per cent -- far ahead of New Zealand First's Shane Jones on 15 per cent.

    Labour's Willow-Jean Prime is on 31 -- and party support for Labour is 3 per cent above National

    Willow-Jean Prime [told TVNZ's Q&A programme it's a good result -- but still early days.

    She says it's really pleasing to see people are supporting what the current government has been doing -- as well as her advocacy for Northland.
