A major meth operation has been shut down in West Auckland

Three men are appearing at the Waitakere District Court today, charged with producing and supplying the drug.

The Armed Offenders Squad helped police catch the offenders at a Muriwai address that had a meth lab.

A 44-year-old offender injured trying to flee the scene is in a stable condition in hospital.

Police also searched a New Lynn property and found a sawn-off shotgun, ammunition, meth and more than 300-thousand dollars in cash.
