Toi Te Ora Public Health warns there's a small chance the public might've been exposed to the virus in two places.
The person visited the Wairakei Terraces on August the 6th from 6PM until 7PM - and Wai-O-Tapu Thermal Wonderland on August 7th from 9AM until 10.15AM.
Medical Officer of Health Neil de Wet says anyone who was at one of these places at these times should monitor themselves for symptoms.
The origin of this case is still under investigation.
