The airport's underlying profit after tax is down 31.4 percent in the year to June, after what it says is the worst six months in its history.
Meanwhile, Qantas's underlying profit has dropped a whopping 91 percent.
Auckland Airport chair, Patrick Strange, says the company's worked quickly to respond, and is in a good position to recover when demand for international travel eventually returns.
