After seven months, police have identified the concrete-entombed remains found under an Auckland house
4 September 2020
They are those of David Stanley Hart.
The remains were found in late January at 3 Marlborough Street, in Mt Eden - a property that Hart used to operate as a boarding house.
Police are treating his death as suspicious.
Acting Detective Senior Sergeant Mark Franich says Police have spoken with a number of people in New Zealand and overseas in relation to the investigation.
However, they still want to speak with anyone who interacted with the property or people living there until 2016, or interacted with Hart from March 2004 onwards.
