In August, New Zealand Golf saw a 24-per cent increase in the number of rounds played around the country compared to the same month last year - despite Auckland being in lockdown.
Chief executive Dean Murphy says a lack of travel under covid-19 has seen the sport rise in people's priorities, and they're hopeful that will continue after the pandemic's subsided.
