Temalisi Fakahokotau knows she'll have to put in the hard yards in her new dress if she's to reclaim a black one

An ACL tear in 2018 left the defender on the sidelines for nearly 12 months, before a successful return with the Mainland Tactix in this year's ANZ Premiership.

Despite her return, she missed out on the Silver Ferns' squad, with coach Noeline Taurua citing her fitness as an ongoing weakness.

Fakahokotau, who's now signed with the Waikato/Bay of Plenty Magic for next season, says it's a fair assessment.
