The next Breakers season won't start until at last mid-January 2021

The next Breakers season won't start until at last mid-January 2021

NBL owner Larry Kestelman says after consulting with the clubs and players' association and acting on advice of the return to competition taskforce, they've put the season back.

Kestelman says the plan is to give clubs the best opportunity to play in front of as many fans as possible.

Hubs remain an option for the season to get underway.

The most recent season was cancelled mid-playoffs in March and the trophy awarded to Perth.
