    Three Christchurch men have appeared in court charged with attempted murder after an alleged drive-by shooting


    Police were called to Hereford Street in Linwood on Saturday afternoon to reports of a man with a gunshot wound.

    27-year-old's Levi Dronsfield and Andrej Schwaab , and 25-year-old Joshua Mackay were arrested yesterday.

    They all face charges of attempted murder, possessing a firearm, and wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm.

    The trio had their first appearance in the Christchurch District Court by video link this morning.

    They've all been remanded in custody to appear in the High Court next month.
