A solution for travel to and from Auckland's North Shore while the Harbour Bridge is broken

A solution for travel to and from Auckland's North Shore while the Harbour Bridge is broken

People are being urged to use public transport to ease congestion - with four lanes closed on the bridge.

But for those with cash to spare, Helitranz is offering people an air commute - at 190-dollars for a one way flight, depending on passenger numbers.

Co-owner Sofia Ambler says some have taken up the chance already.

She says a group flew to the airport, and commuters have booked a flight to avoid tomorrow morning's traffic.
